When I was a little girl I used to watch a series called Ma & PA Kettle.
I think they were movies from the 40's and run on the TV on Sundays during the 1960's.
OMG! I feel so old just thinking about it.

My favorite B&W movie would have to be The Outlaw directed by Howard Hughes, it was made after color pictures were all the rage and it's so much more dramatic because it's not it color =) The plot isn't the strongest in the world, but it's just fun to watch =)

the bracelet is adorable! thanks for giving it away :)

i absolutely adore "On Golden Pond" with Katherine Hepburn...it was first made in black and white, and later remade in color, but the black and white is the best in my opinion! one of my favorite quotes from the movie, said by Ethel, played by Hepburn, is: "Listen to me, mister. You're my knight in shining armor. Don't you forget it. You're going to get back on that horse, and I'm going to be right behind you, holding on tight, and away we're going to go, go, go!"

Watch this movie with your mom or other girls you're close to sometime...you'll love it!!! :)

i hope i win!!!!

In no particular order:

"It Happened One Night" (this was the first to come to mind)

"It's a Wonderful Life"

"Casablanca"

But if it was a desert island situation, I'd probably take "It Happened One Night," since it has more humor and less drama.
