Ooo, pretty! Let's see, if I could have any mural...I think for my daughter's room I'd LOVE a fairy tale scene complete with princess castle in the background. The rest of her walls are covered in clouds - this would be the icing on the cake!

I would have a painted mural of the Paris Opera House. Ah, beauty at it's finest.

Great job on the paintings, Kelly! The one of your grandpa is AMAZING! It looks exactly like him! And where are your parents faces?

Love the paintings! Let's see...probably Central Park or the French Quarter.

I live near Charleston, so i would probably paint a mural of different historical sites in Charleston (i.e. the Battery, Rainbow Row, the Market, etc.)

You should give in to the temptation and let your husband buy a Wii. I think you would be surprised by how much fun you would actually have with it. :)

YAY! I remembered this morning when I woke up that my painting would be given away this week! :D Also, be sure to remind people that if they would like a commissioned work, say for a nursery or their house or something, that they can contact you, and you'll send me the info! Thank you for putting my other work up as well! See you tonight! I can't wait for this weekend!

oh my goodness i'm so excited about this give away! :)

um, i would have the italian country side painted as a mural. definitely!

Probably a lazy farm scene with a pond and some cows to remind me of "home"
Kelly's work is awesome!

The artwork is beautiful! If I had to chose something to be painted in my house it would be the view from our old condo in Florida. It is so great to look out of the back door and see the panoramic view of God's creation! I would love to have something that resembles this each day as I walk through my home!

Love the painting! I think I'd want a very graphic, abstract mural...like the painting or your background of the blog. I think it would just be fun to have Kelly in my house!!

Sarah Rose said...

If I'm being honest... I'd have to say that I would actually NOT have a mural painted! After sanding off a mural from our kitchen, I just don't think it's our taste. But if I was going to have one, I'd have Kel do it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and the sweet comments. I'm adding your blog to my favorites :)

I think I love paintings more than murals but I would have a painting of me and my husband done.

I would have a huge oak tree painted with the names and birthdays of my family ... like a 'family tree'! I've seen this done before and it was gorgeous!

William, Megan and Avery said...

well, i'm getting one! kelly is going to paint our nursery for Avery... it's a fairy tale princess room, so we're talking about painting a big tree in the corner of the nursery, complete with knothole :) maybe throw in some butterflies and frog princes to match the bedding... so exciting!

William, Megan and Avery said...

And I put it on my blog! yay for chance number 2!

Love the paintings!

I would go with a Tuscan scene in my kitchen.

I have to agree with Chad. We just got a Wii a few months ago and it's so much fun. My mother is in her 70's and plays bowling when she visits!

Love your blog!

A soothing landscape. The very BEST thing about Kelly's paintings...I love the one that she did of the "faceless" Stev and I and then Andy videoed her painting the entire thing and sped it up so it last about 15 mins. and set the entire thing to our favorite Christian music! AWESOME! If someone is fortunate enough and wise enough to have Kelly paint a mural in their home...they will receive the ADDED bonus of experiencing her gift of unending joy and spirit lifting personality! They will receive true beauty not only from her work but from her radiant spirit as well.
Love the painting for the give away! Our three girls ALL have such talent! Praise the Lord! Love, mom....see you TONIGHT! :D

I would like to see Evan's room with a mural of a city scene from Spiderman. His entire room is Spidey themed, so I think it would be awesome to see Spiderman flying from building to building in New York City. He would love it.

I would have a mural painted on my side of the bedroom of a cabana boy handing me a cocktail. Wouldn't that be nice to wake up to every morning? "why thank you Enrico, you make the best mai tai's"

Trixi said...

Thank you for stopping by my blog!! What a pretty painting. She is so talented. Let's see, if I could have any mural I wanted I think it would be some type of horse and barn theme for my girls room. You know with the horses running through lush green pastures. They would sooo love that.

Angie said...

Probably a farm scene -- complete with an amish barn and house.

You're always linked on my blog, my friend! : )

My mural would definitely be an abstract. Flowing colors and shades with depth.

I would have a Hawaiian scene done in my kids room.

What an amazing picture! I love murals!

Tara Smith said...

Ooo, I love the painting! I would have Kelly come back and add some more to the playroom. I wanted 2 trees with each girl swinging (on a swing) from each one.

A Lighthouse.
I will definitely post about this. Thanks for stopping by.

I would have kids at play in a meadow.

Second chance! I wasn't sure how else to post you on my blog so I just did a new post. My mom says that she's allergic to bananas. She says her throat closes up and everything. We've never seen anything like that...my sister and I aren't sure that we believe her. :)

Hi Allie, thanks for commenting on my blog. We have to iceskate in July because in January it can be 40 degrees celcius, which I think is around 104 in Fahrenheit - the crazy other side of the world!
If I had a mural painted in my house I'd have a scene from The Chronicles of Narnia with Aslan.

I have a Butterfly room...I think I'd want a mural of some flowers and butterflies!

if it was layla's room - either a princess theme or a jungle theme - that's what she likes. if it's for our room maybe an outdoors theme - we love camping!

Donna Cooper said...

And here I am again because I posted a link to your page to have yet another chance to win this painting...

So if I had to pick another mural, it would be a thought I had for a poster many years ago. About the Judgement Day. A pretty cool "Every Knee Shall Bow" image. Would take way to long to post here. But it is cool..trust me! : )

You have such a cute blog! Thanks for stopping by mine. I got my signature from this site: http://www.mylivesignature.com/mls_wizard1_1.php

You just type in your name and then make some choices. It gives you the HTML code and "waaaalaaa!" :)

Now on to your question....if I could have a mural somewhere in my home, it would be a field of poppies. I adore poppies!

I have a mural planned for my hopefully new house... i saw something similar at a cafe in Grand Marais MN ... Lake Superior but with higlights added like the Superior bridge... I did a mural for my oldest daughter's nursery years ago, a pot of "hearts" at the end of a rainbow and I am rooting for ANgie to win... if i win, she gets it

Hmmmm...if I could have a mural it would be one of an English Garden in Summer when all the brightest of flowers were in full bloom! I would then have the pleasure of Summer all year round...and may I have that mural in my office/sewing room, please?

Mark Aubrey said...

Mural? Hmmm. It would be windows, on on each wall, looking to a different place... The hills of British Isles, an island in the South Pacific, a soothing cityscape, an inviting forest.

Anonymous said...

What an amazing piece of work, Kelly! If I could have a mural painted, it would probably have to either be an under water scene or something to do with flowers -particularly wild flowers and daisies!
-I think that I have to post anonymous b/c I'm not a blogger (I don't really understand how any of this works!). I just saw it under facebook. - Amy Godbout (I work with Kelly and Andy)

I wish I could have mural of a cloudy sky....or something out in my garage...that looks like a huge outdoor open plain.

Now give me that picture. :)

I would want running horses or something, in my kitchen--as my backsplash. Or something garden-y in my girls' room.

something on my back porch might be kind of cool as well.

Oh I hope I win this... It would look great in my kitchen. I would have her paint a mural on Sam's wall. I think of something outside, like trees and a barn maybe. Then on the ceiling have it be white clouds with a blue background. I can see it now!! HAve a good week:)

Unknown said...

I have the perfect spot! In my bathroom: it would be of a window, looking into a beautiful garden with vibrant colors.

Hey there, just came to see your blog from a comment you left on mine (gitzengirl.blogspot)... I've enjoyed reading it. That flower canvas is amazing... your friend is definitely talented!

To answer the question... I think I would do an abstract; maybe an interpretation of a musical piece. Is that weird? Sometimes I like abstracts so it's like seeing something new in it every day.

Unknown said...

I just added your info to my blog http://lillianlucasyoung.blogspot.com. I really hope I win!

I would love to win this painting. I love abstract artwork. I've never been very artsy fartsy, but this still has a little girliness look to it without it being all lace and frills...

What kind of mural...maybe something abstract in black and white with a few random splashes of color through it...
