Trendy Tuesday - Waterproof Jeans

I spill EVERYTHING all the time. My iced tea dribbles down my face, I can't walk and successfully carry a full cup of coffee, and soup usually jumps off my spoon before it makes it to my mouth.

That's why I'm pretty sure these were invented for me...Waterproof Jeans!!! They look and feel like regular denim, but magically bead up any liquid that may fall upon you! Brilliant, I tell you, brilliant...

These are "Devious" by Kasil. kasiljean.com $202

Very handy too when your three year old is constantly spilling things on you! I am a jeans FANATIC. My husband thinks I should possibly be committed.

Now if we can just get a waterproof shirt...we would be good! Except for the price, that's not good.

Cute jeans! Do they make a complete body suit of this stuff? I think your father and G would benefit greatly by ties made out of this material! :D
Good to talk with you. Have fun on your travels. I hear that they are putting electricity and plumbing in "Huts" these days. :D Ho hum..must go and have lunch. Much to do, much to do. See ya Friday! I am SOOOOO excited!!! Love, mom oxoxo

These sound like the perfect jeans for moms with young kids! Maybe Whitney needs a pair....haha!

The only way I'd pay that much for a pair of jeans is if they washed themselves! Of course, my stains never make it to my jeans. Now, if they came up with waterproof tops...that's another story! : )

Oh wow, what a concept! :D I very rarely spill anything on my pants, but when it gets wet denim does take forever to dry! I could have used something like those for the rainy weekend retreat I went on...not that I'd wear $200+ clothes to something like that! Or at all, for that matter...

I would really love those $202 jeans if I could get a pair of the legs that go in it : )! Otherwise, I'll have to take the jeans that get wet from the thrift store.

I think I'll keep my regular jeans, for that price! :)

That's a neat idea. Especially considering when jeans get wet they stay wet for a long time...walking through wet grass...running through the rain...you're wet for hours. But I agree with everyone that said the price is a bit much :) Especially for seminary families on a tight budget.

Whoa. But $200 will buy a lot of dry cleaning for the ones I already have. :)

Wow, waterproof jeans? Who thinks up these things I wonder?

brilliant - do they make shirts!!

Thoses would come in handy for my long upcoming weekend in Seattle with the rain, however there is no way I'd spend over $200 for a pair of jeans.

And just a thought, if they're waterproof...how do you wash them? Hehe.
